Job Summary
Join our mechanical team servicing the locomotive fleet at our Salt Lake City shop. Work with experienced craftspeople on inspections, troubleshooting, and rebuilds.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled locomotive maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Replace components and conduct rebuilds
- Document repair activities
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment
Requirements
- 3+ years diesel mechanic experience (locomotive preferred)
- Knowledge of EMD and GE prime movers a plus
- Own basic hand tools
- Ability to read schematics
- Welding experience preferred
